It is an end-of-life recycling pipeline where degraded packs arrive with chemistry-weight telemetry attached — and certified recyclers submit element extraction bids focused on the streams they optimize: cobalt, lithium, nickel, lead, or mixed.

How Recycling Listings Work

When SoH falls below repurposing thresholds, owners list packs as Recycling Processing with a disposal budget instead of an asking price. The listing card exposes:

• Element extraction metrics (Co, Li, Ni, Pb percentages and pack weight)
• Cycle history and carbon class for lot planning
• Live bids from recycler organizations

Recycler Bids

Organizations with Recycler or Waste Operator profiles can submit bids specifying:

• Bid amount (USD)
• Element focus — cobalt-first hydrometallurgy, nickel stream, mixed, etc.
• Optional notes on lot timing and logistics

Bids write to the marketplace database against the passport serial — creating an audit trail OEMs can use for EPR reporting and due diligence under EU 2025/1561 supply chain rules.

Manufacturing Data Stays Safe

Listing for recycling updates only exchange columns. Your original manufacturing coordinates, operator emails, and restricted Annex XIII fields are never copied into buyer-facing cards.
