Why Annex XIII Is the Safe Bet

Harmonization discussions take years. Annex XIII enforcement starts February 2027. Manufacturers who build to the EU schema participate in harmonization from a position of strength — exporting proven data models rather than abstract proposals.

Platforms aligned with Annex XIII can map additional fields for ISO or UN formats as they finalize, without rebuilding core infrastructure.

3. Structured JSON/XML data exchange (not PDFs)
