Every salvage listing on PassCell now carries a product segment badge — telling recyclers at a glance whether they are bidding on a bare pack, a whole scooter, or a drum of portable electronics.

The five segments

• Battery pack / core — loose cells or modules
• Micromobility — e-scooters and e-bikes (whole or enclosed)
• Portable electronics — phones, laptops, tablets
• Power tools — cordless tool batteries and housings
• General device — other battery-powered hardware

Why segments matter

Recyclers filter the public catalog by segment before weight and voltage. Misclassified lots get fewer bids — choose the segment that matches what is actually in the crate.
